How is flour best preserved?
Storing flour is simple and easy, if you follow our four tips. Dark or wholemeal flour can be stored in this way for up to nine months. Lighter flour for more than 12 months.
• Keep away from heat
Store preferably in a paper bag or airtight container, at between 16/20° degrees
• Protect from strong odours!
Flour tends to take on other smells, so be careful not store it near spices or coffee
• Store in a dry place!
Protect from humidity, such as steam
• Store in a dark place.
Flour deteriorates quicker in the light
