30 | g | Honey |
100 | g | Milk (or plant-based milk) |
50 | g | Vegetable oil |
2 | Ripe bananas | |
1 | Lemon (juice and grated zest) | |
1 | package | Baking powder |
q.s. | Peeled almonds |
Preparation
- Mash the bananas and reduce them to a puree.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs (or add them directly to the liquids if preferred) together with the honey. Add the oil, milk (or plant-based milk), and lemon juice. Incorporate the sifted flour, alternating it with the liquid ingredients. Add the banana puree to the mixture and mix gently. Add the baking powder and mix until a homogeneous dough is obtained. Pour the batter into a previously greased and floured baking pan.
- Sprinkle the surface of the cake with peeled almonds.
- Bake at 170°C for about 40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and cooked through.
- Once cooked, allow to cool before serving.
